The Bowling Team is coming off a very successful year. They year started slow but the team worked hard to get better and it paid off at the state finals where we finished 4th out of 16 teams. Being a part of the team teaches the students to be a team player and to have fun. The team understands that they are not only representing themselves but Austintown Fitch as a whole.

The Boys Head Bowling Coach, Dino Balkan says, “If you talk to coaches around the state they will have nothing but praise about the Austintown Fitch bowling program. They know year in and year out we are competing for the state championship whether it’s the boys (who have been to state 10 out of 13yrs) with 2 state titles or the girls who have been to state 11 times with 1 state title.”

The tradition of success started back in 2000 and it has not let up. The coaches put a lot of time and effort into making these young student-athletes the best they can be on the lanes and in the classroom.
