RDE stands for Reading, Discussion and Enrichment. Senior students read classical literature and discuss it after school about once a month. This year they have read Shakespeare's “Twelfth Night”, Kafka's “Metamorphosis”, and selections from Kahlil Gibran's “The Profit”. They are currently reading “Rebecca” by Daphne Du Maurier.
On April 20th RDE will have a Brown Bag Luncheon to celebrate the end of the year. At the luncheon each grade level performs a skit highlighting that grade's year in RDE. The students really enjoy performing and watching the skits.
Several small scholarships will be awarded to several participating seniors!
